Early Ideas

For the opening of my music video, I want a male to be singing the first part of the song walking down the streets or in a field. This part of the song will consist of lots of close ups so that we can see his emotions and mid shots so that the audience can view his surrounding and locations. It will. should then fade to the next shot of the second main character who should be a girl. This will then be shot from an establishing shot or high angle shot so that we can see what is happing around her. As the unique idea of the song, I will want it to be shot in black and white so that it looks like the past, also, if something bad has happening in any of the scenes, it will be shot in a canted angle so that the audience knows. In order to keep my audience interested through out, I will be meeting the stereotypes of the R&B songs.

My Group

For my A-Level music project, I have decided to work alone. I made this choice because I feel that I will be able to work efficiently by myself, also so that I have complete control over my video and how it looks.

Brief

A promotion package for the release of an album, to include a music promo video, together with two of the following three options:

• a website homepage for the band;

• a digipak for the album’s release;

• a magazine advertisement for the digipak.
